Event Introduction
AIC • IWS International Children & Youth Watercolor Competition encourages children and young people to participate in artistic creation which encourages them to seek interest in visual arts appreciation and broaden their international horizons. Selected works will be exhibited in the “PASS IT ON – PAINTING LIFE” Children and Youth Watercolor Exhibition in Shenzhen. Winners will also have the opportunity to participate in the other AIC and IWS exhibitions of different countries, a chance to encounter master artists in the art world today. The works will be judged by internationally renowned watercolor artists.

Art (International) Investment Club, “AIC”, jointly established by Shenzhen A.I.M. Culture Organization, Sino Art Creative & Extensive Organization and City Art Fair which is an art integrated service platform. AIC has long and close connection with collectors, entrepreneurs, artists, art financial institutions. Meanwhile, there is also a good relationship between AIC and domestic and foreign academic institutions, art and cultural organizations, high-end art commodities agencies.
The International Watercolor Society (IWS) is a non-profit organization which is founded by Mr. Atanur Dogan, initiated it with the aims of exchanging proposals and artistic beauty of watercolors, has successfully integrated more than 100 branches worldwide. The International Watercolor Society of Hong Kong is a registered charity organisation in Hong Kong since April 2015 with the objective of promoting the world’s oldest and most deeply rooted painting techniques – the art of watercolor. It is a branch of International Watercolor Society (IWS).
China Soong Ching Ling Foundation – Guangdong branch – “Dream Project” which is raising funds for helping children education and art education, appeals for more support and focus on children education. At the same time, it promotes art and charity together. Hope culture and art could be part of children’s life and support children education.

OBJECTIVES
To popularize watercolor techniques among children and youth. The competition provides the participants the opportunity to exchange experiences, the final exhibition will present a variety of watercolor painting by children and youth from different countries.

ELIGIBILITY
The competition is opened to all children and young adults from 3 to 20 years old.

The works will be evaluated in six age groups:
3-5 years of age
6-8 years of age
9-11 years of age
12-15 years of age
16-20 years of age

1st stage: Free Submission ( online only)
Upload the images ( artwork and video) to the following link:
Submit ONE work only and must be an original work of the participant and one video about creating art in 15 second (will showcase and promote in media platform)
Digital file must be in JPG format, resolution must be in 300dpi, file size should be within 4-6MB
